The BESS Research Committee has up to £15,000 available to award annually in pump priming grants, to set up and commence research projects. The purpose of these grants is to encourage clinical research into shoulder and elbow disorders. Proposals for projects that are intended to be on the NIHR portfolio would qualify, as this pump priming grant would then allow the grant holder to access research network support to supplement this funding for completion of their project.
Due to COVID-19 BESS Council has taken the difficult decision to suspend our pump priming grants for 2020. If you have already submitted an application for this year please contact email@example.com to discuss moving your application to 2021.
