The BESS presentation prizes are awarded by the Education Committee each year at our annual scientific meeting. There are currently six prizes awarded:
Lipmann Kessel Prize – awarded to the presenter of the best paper
Ian Kelly Prize – awarded to the presenter of the second highest scoring paper
Paul Calvert Prize – awarded to the presenter of the best podium presentation produced with limited resources and in 2025 awarded to the best video techniques presentation.
