Shoulder Instability

The information and exercise videos below have been developed by BESS physiotherapists and are designed for people who have been diagnosed with shoulder instability.  Shoulder instability can result in the shoulder coming in and out of joint.  This can result in pain, apprehension and reduced function.

By following the advice and exercises within the video your symptoms should improve.  You should see mild improvements in your symptoms after 6 weeks, but it can take between 3 and 6 months to see more significant changes.  If your symptoms fail show signs of improvement by 6-12 weeks or your pain worsens, please contact your health care provider.
