The Education Committee is made up of BESS members and is a mix of Surgical and AHP representatives. The current membership can be found here. The Committee has a number of aims and responsibilities including:
- Judging papers presented at the annual meeting and awarding the prizes
- Interviewing those who have applied for a fellowship award
- Organising the content and structure the Instructional Course and Elbow Updates Symposium
- Working with ORUK to organise our annual arthroplasty meeting
- Producing BESS guidelines

BOA Future Leaders Programme
 We are pleased to announce that BESS Council have agreed to sponsor a place on the BOA Future Leaders Programme for the 2025/2026 intake. Information about the programme is available on the BOA website here. |
| The application process is managed through the BOA. If you wish to apply for funding through BESS you must be a current BESS Member. When you apply you can select BESS as your funding subspecialty society and your application will be considered by the BESS Education Committee. You can find out more about BESS membership here.
