Research Committee

The BESS Research Committee works to promote national shoulder and elbow surgical trials to its Members. The committee also run a research symposium at the annual meeting, usually focusing on a controversial area with a view to proposing topics for further national trials. They are responsible for our pump priming grants and circulation to members of research surveys. The committee is currently chaired by Joideep Phadnis, an honorary senior lecturer at Brighton & Sussex Medical school, who is involved in teaching, research and mentorship of medical students.
