We are seeking expressions of interest from BESS members to be part of the BESS working group to update the Patient Care Pathway on Subacromial Pain for 2023. This working group will report to the Education Committee Chair – Adam Watts.
The working group will comprise clinicians, physiotherapists, and possibly some GPs and patients/carers (approximately 15- 20 members in the working group). The project will extend over 9 months and involve at least 8 virtual meetings of the working group which will be held on weekday evenings throughout the year.
We plan to follow the GRADE guideline generation methodology. This will allow us to take a more structured approach to creating the Subacromial Pain guidelines.
The first meeting will help clarify the roles in the working group, setting up of the key questions (PICO) and subgroups who will review these questions.
